More Children less Running.

For what seems like forever the boys and I got a day off from school and took advantage of the time to hang out together. At home. The irony doesn't escape me. Just last year it seemed like we had days and days devoted to hanging out and doing what we wanted. Those days  often occasionally seemed to dragged on. Now when we are blessed with an off day I don't want it to end ( cue sap sucky music ).
So anyway...I got to say yes instead of we don't have enough time before (cue dinner, school, bed, swim etc) a lot. Mom can we make sock puppets?, YES! Mom can I FINALLY use my sewing kit? YES!, Mom will you play chess with me? No, but I will play UNO ( I don't know how. cue excuses).
It was a lovely day. I won't lie though it was nice to send everyone off to school yesterday.

His Cat Peter. He sewed 99% of it himself. He had so much fun doing it.

PS. W is sick this morning so my planned 3 miles might have to wait until I can hop on the dreadmill this evening.
