I have a love hate relationship with running. Who doesn't really? I also felt like with all my training/races in October my body needed a rest. So I took 2 weeks off. While it felt great, getting back in the saddle hurts. I didn't log many miles last week and only did a few gym workouts. It hurt and also felt great. I love these mixed messages I'm giving. So now that the break is over I ran a race today. I fun race with 1200 people. In my town on a route I've run before. The kicker was all 1200 people were dressed like SANTA!!!!
The nice thing about Santa's suit is it really only looks good if you look like Santa. So picture 1200 people looking ridiculous. It was pretty cool to see 1200 Santas' running up battery street. A sea of red.
