World Run Day!

I'm sure at some point I'll get over running (or at least writing about it). Until then deal.

Last year I went out for a run by myself to celebrate, this year some friends and I planned on running with a group at our local ski/sports store. Bagels, coffee and raffle prizes where promised. Sounded like a good way to celebrate. Saturday afternoon G decided to bring the kids and run too.

I love running with my family and the fact that the kiddos love coming with us pleases me pleasantly.  Q decided before the run started that he was going to run. We set out and Q went fast and had a great time. Halfway up the hill ( ~1mile) he conked out and planned on walking. G urged me to go find my friends and while I sprinted to catch up with them he bribed Q back into the jogger with a post run soda (!).

The run organizers had a ipod shuffle to raffle off for the kids and our own little W won it. I didn't realize winning was a family trait!!
