Q has been squinting since early this summer when he started to do more reading. At his 5 year I was told he had 20/20 vision. I decided to wait and see (pun intended). I noticed it off and on but I thought it could just be that he was new to the whole, reading writing thing and it was just a habit. But as he started writing more and more It became clear ( I can't help it) that there was an issue. So fast forward thru the many conversations had with people more knowledgeable then I trusting the eyes exam at the pediatricians office. Unable to shake the " somethings not right" feeling I took him to the eye dr.
Q LOVES anything mechanical and people who will listen to him talk. He also LOVED the idea of getting glasses. So the experience was a dream come true for him. Turns out that he dose have 20/20 vision but his eyes are over focusing and he needs glasses to help him rest them. He is over the moon and they didn't prove that distracting in school. A classmate told him he looked like Harry Potter.
Boy I have cute kids!! no bias here nope none.
